So Welcome
Every Star Dies is a collection of ambient songs that I originally intended for the band [arpix], an experimental music duo between me and my friend Snorp. I was originally just going to scrap these songs, as they were rendered too complete to really touch up and expand, but I ultimately decided to just release the songs under Inquietus in a two-song EP. All of these songs are entirely self-produced, written, mixed, and mastered by Isla Scott.
"Joint Feeling" is probably my favorite song that I’ve ever made or will make. The balance of warmth and bliss is just pure, psychedelic perfection. And "So Welcome" is a longform meditative piece that I think is just wonderful. In the future, I’ll definitely release more ambient works like this, possibly under a different alias. You’ll just have to be patient and see, okay?
