Isla Scott is a transgender artist from West Virginia who specializes in animation and illustration. She also has been releasing music primarily under the Inquietus alias since 2020. Her passion for art was ignited at a very young age when she first played Katamari Forever and LittleBigPlanet 2 on the PS3, acting as the catalyst for everything that she would create later on.
She describes her approach to creating visual works as “involving a lot of ostensibly sloppy movements, aiming for a balance of geometry, humor, and emotional resonance.” When it comes to creating music, she describes her work approach as “doing whatever I feel like lol.” Her debut album Full Commitment to the Bit released on September 5th, 2025.
She is currently attending Savannah College of Art and Design, planning to graduate with her BFA degree in Animation in 2029.
Isla says there’s more to come soon. She just has to “lowkey lock in.”
