Full commitment to the bit is the first studio album that was released under the Inquietus alias. It was written and recorded on-and-off from August 2023 to August 26, 2025. The record is entirely self-produced, mixed, and mastered, and also carries a very homespun indie-electronic-pop sound.
I would usually spend one or two days a week recording actual songs for the record, and retrospectively, I think spent way too much time trying to make it sound as perfect as possible. Especially when recording vocals, there are still some moments of insecurity that are noticeable, but it creates a very rough and beautiful sound. My personal favorite on this record is "The feeling."
It used to be an inside joke between my friends and I that this LP was never going to actually be finished, being teased constantly over the course of two years. Right in the middle of making the record, I hit a really low point of deep sadness and isolation and the only solace I could find was in writing about everything that I was feeling at the time. As a result, this record touches on a lot of very vulnerable points, so please listen with caution! I really needed to get this record out of my system, and I’m very grateful I was able to finish it. I really hope that you enjoy it!
